"With the kind assistance of Ana Quiroga , my husband has been paying by check at the State Farm Bernie Carr Agency all of our insurance premiums for many years. .In addition to the policies coved by State Farm , Ana assisted him with the payment for other insurance provider such as FEMA , Citizen , Homeowners for our rental properties. Recently due to unexpected events which compromised our banking account we had to change the way these payments will be made making it necessary to change from checks to online payments going forward. "I recently went through an ordeal wherein the Insurance Underwriters for State Farm were trying to cancel my Homeowners insurance because of a faulty roof. This, even though my roof was only in the 12th year of a 30-year roof guarantee and I did not have windstorm on my Homeowners insurance. They literally wanted me to replace a $36,000.00 roof. Bernie Carr, my agent for close to 40-years, came out, took photos of my roof, and stated that my roof looked "perfect". I had a roofing contractor inspect and fix a couple of minor flaws and he submitted photos and details of the repairs. Jacqueline Acevedo, Bernie's Protection Specialist, helped me diligently go through the process of getting my Homeowners Insurance reinstated and was delightful to deal with during this trying process.
